The Clive Festival will be here before you know it and we are working hard to continually make it better as we head into our 37th year. As one of the best community festivals in the Des Moines Metro area, we have built upon a nature theme to celebrate our beautiful Greenbelt Trail. This year’s schedule is packed with activities for both kids and adults to provide a well rounded event for the entire Clive community.The Clive Festival will once again partner with Metro Arts Jazz in July to bring a variety of LIVE music to the event. Friday July 26 - Corning's Annual Summer Homecoming. Street Dance, BBQ, one huge party by Central Park.
Saturday July 27 - Doctor's Dash, BBQ Lunch, Kids activities, "Retire the Red Raiders" parade. Alumni Band, Homecoming queens from past, "Retire the Red Raiders" Tailgate Party and Street Dance in Central Park.
Sunday July 28 - breakfast at the beach. "History of CHS Program" at the Activity Center.

Great music, along with inviting neighborhoods and parks, keeps people coming back year after year to Metro Arts Jazz in July concerts. Now in its 30th year, this month-long family-friendly festival celebrates jazz and art with free outdoor concerts across Greater Des Moines. Brought to the community in partnership with neighborhood groups and corporate sponsors, the concerts feature both local musicians and national acts with Iowa ties. Food vendors, visual artists, and children’s activities add to the fun. Synergy Jazz Foundation is a non-profit, grass roots group with the mission of developing educational and performance projects that combine the resources and talents of Central Iowa musicians, educators, schools, charitable organizations, and the community. Using Jazz as a vehicle, Synergy projects teach the value of creative thought, an awareness of American culture, and the importance of dedication, commitment, and personal responsibility in achieving success.
